From Chefs
to Chefs.
COSEXA was started in Miami by chefs and operators who spent years watching the same waste, the same friction, and the same quiet exploitation across kitchens and supply chains.
We are a sustainable produce company built around a simple promise — fewer hands, better food, fairer terms. We work with a small set of restaurants, hotels, and caterers across South Florida.
The company is small on purpose. Selection and trust scale poorly. Quality does not.
What
COSEXA
means.
The name comes from cosecha — the Spanish word for harvest. It traces back to the Latin collecta: gathered together. A harvest was never one hand's work. It was the field, the pickers, the wagons, the market — collected into one basket.
COSEXA is that basket, in modern form. We swapped the CH for an X — the mark of the crossing. The point where grower, route, and kitchen meet and become one delivery.
Harvest. From the Latin collecta — gathered together. The season, the soil, the hands that pick it.
Partnership. Where grower meets route, route meets kitchen, kitchen meets plate. Nothing moves alone.
Of the land. Produce first — never a byproduct, never an afterthought.
So COSEXA is a harvest with a partnership built into the middle of the word. A basket you can only fill together — and the X is the handshake in the center of it.
